Byre Cottage, our former family home, has been recently refurbished and is now a beautiful and welcoming holiday cottage. The cottage has 2 bedrooms – sleeping up to 3 people. Electric storage heaters are fitted throughout with underfloor heating in the kitchen area and a heated towel rail in the bathroom, which has a modern white suite comprising a toilet, sink and bath with electric shower over. There are 2 bedrooms, a master bedroom with Kingsize bed, fitted wardrobes and TV and a smaller bedroom with a single bed. All beds are made up prior to arrival and have one duvet and 2 pillows. Byre Cottage has access to a laundry room which is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer for guests use. The cottage has a narrow open staircase so is unsuitable for people with wheelchairs and limited mobility. The entrance is to an open plan kitchen/dining and living area. The new, fully modernised kitchen is equipped with an electric double oven and gas hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. The living/dining area if furnished with a 3 seater settee and chair, colour TV, DVD and video player and radio/cd player. There is a dining table with 4 chairs along with a window seat for further seating options. Also provided are a vacuum cleaner, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The cottage has a smoke alarm and fire extinguisher situated in the kitchen area for your safety. |
